Chromecast Problems
Can’t cast from mobile browsers:
Chromecasting from mobile browsers is not officially supported by the Brollie platform. An app is required to have Chromecast support on mobile devices.

Chromecast icon not visible:
You must be connected to the same network as Chromecast in order to cast to it. Casting from Safari: Chromecasting from Safari is not officially supported, We only support casting from Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browsers on Windows and MacOS, as well as from our apps on Android and iOS.

Cast fails:

This can be caused by a number of reasons.
- Out of date browser.
- Out of date operating system.
- Incompatible browser extensions.
- Missing the Chromecast as a registered device.

This can also come with the message “Available for specific video sites”. This will show up on Samsung and Panasonic TV’s as these are not true chromecasts. Samsung uses Mira cast and Panasonic use Viera cast, unfortunately these are not compatible with your platform.

To fix this, Please try updating any browser and operating system where the cast fails, as well as removing any browser extensions.

Unsupported Browser If you are seeing the “Unsupported browser” message we recommend upgrading to the latest version of your browser. Please also check that your system is compatible with brollie in System Requirements.
