Razorback

1h 35m Australian, Horror, Thriller, Australia 1984
Best Cinematography - AFI Award Winner

A vicious wild boar terrorises the Australian outback and a search for the beast ensues.

Somewhere deep in the Australian outback, there is a marauding, indestructible creature that can rip a man in half and destroy a homestead in seconds. This giant freak of nature is nine hundred pounds of tusk and muscle, and hell bent on terrorising the small isolated community of Gamulla, a town as violent and primitive as the beast that threatens it. Razorback is the astonishing feature film debut of music video maestro, Russell Mulcahy (Highlander).

Boasting stunning cinematography from Oscar® winner, Dean Semler (Dances with Wolves), a terse and exciting script bursting with droll humour by horror veteran, Everett DeRoche (Patrick), and a fearsome creature created by effects master, Bob McCarron (The Matrix, Braindead), Razorback is a ferociously entertaining, adrenaline pumping thriller that proudly counts Steven Spielberg and Quentin Tarantino among its self-confessed fans.
